This
Low-Power Solar Charge Controller with Maximum Power Point Tracking
(MPPT) is specially designed to recharge a 12.8V LiFePO4 battery pack
(with capacity > 5AH) up to a max of 4A charging current. With tiny
self-consumption of 125 microamps in low light (1/20th to 1/50th as much
as comparable controllers), this Solar Charge Controller connects
between your solar panel and LiFePo4 battery pack like any charge
controller, but its sophisticated electronics allow the controller to
operate the solar panel at its most efficient voltage, resulting in
significant gains in power. In full sun, typical
gains for LiFePO4 batteries are 10% - 40%. In
partial-shade tests, we have seen gains as high as 56% from MPPT.
Another key feature is this Controller can take a maximum input voltage of up to 27Vdc and is made in USA

Note:(1)
|
Tracking efficiency is the ratio of power, relative to the maximum, that is extracted from your solar panels. For more information about tracking efficiency, and why it sets Genasun's charge controllers apart from conventional controllers, see About Maximum Power Point Tracking
