Warnings

  • Prismatic Lithium Ion Battery Safety Guidelines and Instructions
  • 12.8V LiFePO4 Prismatic battery pack shall be cut-off at 15.2V during charging and 10.0V during discharging. If over discharge to 10V (2.5V/cell), please recharge the pack right away. Otherwise the battery is over discharge and cannot recover!

I have bought 13 of these packs and only had one bad cell so far (1 out of 52 cells). I was able to replace that bad cell with a single prismatic cell, though that pack had to be taped together because there is no way to get the binding straps back on. I use 12 packs (48 cells) in series in a '92 Nissan pickup to make 153.6 V, 60 Ah. The last 12.8 V pack is for lights, signals, etc. So far I have put over 3000 mi on this battery pack and they perform the same as the first day. Unfortunately, the batteries DO NOT produce 10 C of current. They put out 3 at best and even then the voltage is dropping below 80% nominal. I knew 10 C was impossible and that 2 C was standard for LFPs, so I only took off 1 star. Shame on BatterSpace for putting up false numbers, but the product is good quality.
