NiMH Batteries are very useful in ROV applications

I am using this battery along with a second battery of the same size and type to power and provide ballast for a Hybrid Blue Robotics/OpenROV Three Thruster ROV: http://forum.openrov.com/t/blue-robotics-openrov-2-8-hybrid-rov/4727. This battery meets my power density requirements without having to resort to a LiPo battery. My ROV can stay submerged for around two hours with a pair of these batteries run in parallel.
