The shrink wrap is for covering your custom battery packs!
To find the size you need, measure the widest cross-section circumference of your pack and then divide it by 2. Use the shrink wrap size at least 5 mm (1/5 inch) wider than your half circumference value.
Use a hair dryer to evenly heat up the wrap to shrink until it is tightly wrapped around the battery pack.
It's 5 mils ( 1 mil = 0.001 inch) thick with a 2:1 shrink ratio.
Shrinking rate: cross section: 48% +/-5; longitudinal: 15% +/-3 (Measure in boiling water for 1 minute)
Thickness: 0.005 inch
Width: 1 3/4 inch
Length: 1' (12 '')
Shelf life: > 5 years @ 25'C(77F) storage without sunshine
