LiFePO4 Slave Module Expansion Kit (V2) for the LFP BMS Starter Kit, best suited for pack voltage of 48V or below. If your battery pack is 60V or higher, please select BMS-EL-V7/BMS200-EL-V6

  • This is an expansion kit that allow you to expand from 4 cells (from LFP BMS Starter Kit) upto a max of 128 cells.
  • Support LFP-G20, LFP-G40, LFP-G60, LFP-G100cells.
  • Each kit consist of the following:
    • 4 pcs of Slave Modules (one slave module per cell)
    • Preassemble ribbon cables connect the Slave Modules
    • Preassemble expansion cables to connect to next Slave Module Expansive Kit
  • Each Slave Module will perform the following function:
    • Monitor and communicate status of the cell to the Master Module to take appropriate action. Such as display status of each cell on the LCD Display and protect the battery pack from over charge and over discharge.
    • Monitor the cell's peak voltage to prevent over charging the cell.
    • Monitor the cell's lowest voltage to prevent over discharging the cell
    • Perform balance function to ensure all cells within the pack remain same voltage level
      • Balancing Threshold Voltage: 3.55V
      • Balancing Current: 0.5A
    • Monitor the temperature of the cell with a build in 65o thermostat
    • LED Indicator:
      • Power LED - Green (on) indicate Slave Module is working
      • Balance LED - RED (on) indicate it is performing balancing function
  • Size (LxWxH): 2.6" (65mm) x 1.1"(28mm) x 0.3"(7.0mm) for each slave module
  • Weight: 1.4 OZ (40g) for each slave module
