Protection Circuit Module for 2 Cells (7.4V) Li-Ion Pack with 20A Limit

This protection circuit is specially designed for 7.4V Li-Ion / polymer Li-Ion Battery pack with 20A discharging rate. Different than normal PCB, it provides equilibrium function after battery pack is fully charged. This is to balance each cell of the pack to make sure all cells are within 4.22V. With this function, Li-ion cell will have a longer service life

The PCM will provide the following protection:

  • Keep 7.4V Li-Ion Battery pack from overcharge (4.2V/cell)
  • Balance each cell at Max. 4.22/cell (voltage tolerance within 0.2V for each cell)
  • Keep 7.4V Li-Ion Battery pack from overdischarge (2.48V/cell)
  • Limit 7.4V Li-Ion Battery pack's discharging current below 20A.

  • Applicable for 2 Cells  Li-ion / Li-polymer Battery Pack with discharging current  < 20A
  • Internally trim Voltage limits to balance each cell. Must wait 30 minutes after fully charge to allow the pack to perform balance function before using.
  • Max. 20A Discharge Current Limit Detection and cut-off power
  • Dimension (LxWxH): 4.7"(120mm) x 1.5" (37mm) x 0.3" (7mm)
  • Weight: 50g (1.8oz)
  • Excluded Fuel Gauge socket for connection to our Fuel Gauge display board to display battery energy level. 

Tip:

  • If you want to use this pcm for a battery that is rated less than 20A drain, you must add additional protection device to protect the battery itself. Such as: proper rated polyswitch.
