Great batteries and charger
R Gupta (Austin, TX) 10/28/2009 5:28 PM
So let me first comment on customer service; very impressive; There was some billing address issue with my order and it was immediately resolved and the order was shipped same day. I have not been lucky with other well known sites when you get into issues with your order. Now comes the 2600 mAH AA rechargeable batteries; good quality at a very reasonable price (when compared to other sites and stores). I had also purchased AA to D convertor shells with my order; I simply love them; I have a 1 year old and the toys require all sorts of batteries AA, C, D. The convertors make it simple with AA batteries and one charger. I use the batteries for all her toys and then last well; before I have to charge them again. They recharge in about 40 mins work for a long time. The charger is also very good, the display shows the charging status. Great plus is I can charge 2 or 4 batteries at a time for both AA and AAA; I had a charger which could charge 4 AA batteries but only 2 AAA batteries. Most important it does not get hot. The only thing I don;t like is even after the batteries are fully charged, it does not switch off. Auto switch off will be a very nice feature to have. The convertors are awesome, they simply make the AA into a D battery; and simplies charging. I like this option to convert the AA batteries to either C with C convertor or D with D Convertor. My next purchase will be charger (after I return the charger to my friend) and some more batteries. We are happy to not charge the batteries that often;

Powerizer AA 2600mAh High Capacity NiMH Batteries

Value: 2600 mAh PoweriZer batteries cost significantly less than comparable 2500 mAh rechargeable batteries. Most cost around $2.50 per battery, but PoweriZer only costs around $1.50. General comments I do a lot of gaming, so AA batteries have been becoming more and more important to me. Wireless Xbox 360 controllers, guitars, drums, Wii remotes, balance boards, handheld game systems, they all require AA batteries. If I wanted to power all my wireless gear that required AA batteries simultaneously, I would require about 30 AA batteries. As one can imagine, trying to buy new AA batteries every time would quickly become unacceptably money draining.

I've used their 2000 mAh and their 2300 mAh version. Their new batteries are extremely good. I used them when I went to Vietnam, and they recharge in a couple of hours. Not only that, but their batteries last a LONG time. Both charge time and battery lasting time is great. The batteries lasted a good 500 pictures. I took a set up to Vietnam, and filled up my 512 MB CF card for my Canon camera before the batteries went out. This included using the LCD too. They are extremely good and I've recharged their batteries with multiple chargers rated at 500mAh/hour with no sideaffects. The batteries last a LONG time with charge too. You can go about a month and only lose about 50% of your charge. BatterySpace has quite a selection of batteries. Before, they had 24 AA batteries for a discount I believe, which included free shipping. Their batteries are worth 1 dollar each if you use them often. You probably go through a charger before the batteries themselves die out. I buy from them all the time and they are very friendly with the responses. If you need help, they have a forum you can go to to ask questions. Make sure you check carefully the mAh ratings for the batteries, as well as the type of batteries. Some of their selections include 2/3 sized ones which wont fit your camera. Overall, I like their website, but they seem to have gotten a bit more expensive. They are still much better than the name branded batteries like Energizer batteries and them. About your batteries, you might want to try another "pack" because depending on batches, there could be problems. And by the way, batteryspace has a warranty on batteries that break during normal use. If you give them good evidence that the batteries break, they will usually send you replacement. That's what I experienced a couple of years ago, and hopefully they haven't changed their policies. So yeah, give them a try.
