The board is capable of being charged by 14-18 DC adapter and discharged at the same time

Charging terminal will cut off @ 12.6V when fully charged. If the discharge terminal was being continuously discharged (at less than or equal to adapter's output current) until 9.0 +/- 0.25V, the charging terminal will reset and start charging automatically. (Please wait 10 min for LED 1 Flashing)

If the discharge current exceeds the charging current while charging, the battery will continue to discharge until 7.95 +/ 0.25V cut - off voltage and the charge terminal will NOT be reset to start auto charge (must disconnect the charge terminal or ac power to adapter to start charging)!
