Suggestion: If you don't need to charge single cell and discharge batteries (in most cases a necessity for the NiCd type), you can use V2299 instead of BC1HU.

I recently purchased the CH-V2299 Powerizer Computer-Controlled Universal Battery Charger for All Size NiMH/NiCd cells with Car plug. It is by far the cheapest battery charger i have found yet. I went to a couple stores near me and the lowest price i could find was about 40$$ which is double what i paid from batteryspace.com. When i first bought it i thought it was gonna be a cheap charger becuse i wasnt going to be using it a lot, i was just going to use it for my rechargeable 9v paintball batterys.( which are also very good that i bought from batteryspace.com.) Once i got it i was impressed it was well put together and can charge a lot of batterys at once. So this is a very good battery charger if you have rechargeable batterys, it is well worth the money and will save you a lot of money in the long run. I suggest to everyone that you buy rechargable batterys for yourself... they work great. You dont have to worry about changing you batterys and looking if you have new ones somewere or going out to the store and spending 10$ on 5 of them. The best part is the charger automatically shuts off when batterys are fully charged and can detect a bad battery. Doesnt auto-off 9v batterys but all other batterys do. Also comes with a car charger.
