Protection Circuit Module for 10 Cells (37V) Li-Ion Pack with 90A Limit

This protection circuit is specially designed for 37V Li-Ion / polymer Li-Ion Battery pack with 90A discharging rate. Different with normal PCB, it provides equilibrium function after fully charged, e.g. PCM will detect each cell's voltage and trim higher voltage until other cell's voltage reach same, therefore allow Li-ion cell has longer service life. Also the PCM will provide the following protections:

  • Keep 37V Li-Ion Battery pack from overcharge ( 4.2V/cell)
  • Balance each cell at Max. 4.25/cell ( required voltage tolerance within 0.2V for each cell)
  • Keep 37V Li-Ion Battery pack from over-discharge ( 2.75V/cell)
  • Limit 37V Li-Ion Battery pack's discharging current below 90 A.

  • Apply for 10 Cells Li-ion / Li-polymer Battery Pack with discharging current < 90A
  • Internally Trimmed Voltage Limits to balance each cell. Please wait 30 minutes for this equilibrium function to take place after charger indicated battery pack is fully charged.
  • 90A Discharge Current Limit Detection
  • Come with 2 PCS of boards
    • Board A (Large Board) for protection from overcharged and overdischarged
      • Dimension (LxWxH): 127mm(5.0") x 93mm(3.6") x 8mm(0.3")
      • Weight: 4.6 Oz (128 grams)
    • Board B (Small Board) for cell balance.
      • Dimension (LxWxH): 96mm(3.8") x 48mm(1.8") x 8mm(0.3")

  • Included 1 pcs 1' 2" long 11 pin 24AWG wire without connector
    • Utilize for connect "Board A" together with "Board B"
  • Included 1 pcs 10" long connector adaptor (Convert from 9 pin Female JST plug to 9 pin 24AWG wire without connector)
    • Utilize for connect between "Board A" and "Battery (Cell 1-10)"

Tip:

Warning:

  • If you want to use this pcm for a battery that is rated less than 90A drain, you must add additional protection device to protect the battery itself. Such as: proper rated polyswitch.
  • To achieve balance, each cell in battery pack must has equal voltage within tolerance of 0.2V.
  • You must be professional in Li-Ion battery pack to buy the PCM. Misusing PCM may cause battery damage or explode. We are not responsible for any damage caused by user.
