All Li-Ion Battery packs must connect to a protection circuit module to protect Li-Ion Battery from over charge, over discharge and prevent accidental battery explosion due to its extra high energy density. This protection circuit is specially designed for 7.4V Li-Ion and polymer Li-Ion Battery.
Please connect battery pack with the circuit as the following drawing with wire provided.

Works, but has a few quirks

Appears to work as advertised, however the solder pads for the cell tabs are alarmingly close together. A steady hand is recommended when assembling a pack.
Also, if you attach one of these to a battery pack and read zero volts across the output, trying connecting the charger to it (the assembled pack) for a moment, and then checking the output voltage again. It seems that occasionally the board won't activate until its put on a charger, even with fully charged cells attached.
